SmerDev Studio LLC builds practical apps for productivity, pet care, vehicle fitment, field operations, creator workflows, clinical research support, compliance reference, and everyday utility. This Privacy Policy explains how SmerDev Studio LLC handles information across our apps, websites, and support channels.

Information We Collect

Different apps use different features, so the information collected depends on which app you use and which permissions you choose to enable. Information may include:

• Account information, such as an email address or sign-in identifier, when an app uses account-based features.
• App content you choose to create, such as notes, tasks, reminders, pet records, speech practice transcripts, calculations, saved settings, or project information.
• Device and diagnostic information, such as app version, device type, crash logs, and performance data used to improve reliability.
• Location-related information only when needed for app features you enable, such as walks, mileage, field visits, or similar location-based tools.
• Media, microphone, or file access only when you grant permission for features that need those inputs, such as speech practice, image uploads, attachments, or document support.
• Purchase and subscription status provided by Apple or our payment/subscription providers, such as whether access is active. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate app features, save user preferences, sync or restore data where supported, provide customer support, process purchases, improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and keep apps secure and useful.

AI Features

Some SmerDev Studio apps include AI-powered features for planning, research, organization, text assistance, guidance, or productivity workflows. When you use those features, the content you submit may be processed by third-party AI service providers to generate a response. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, legal, financial, or confidential information unless you are comfortable with it being processed for that feature.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, cloud storage, maps, notifications, AI processing, or other app infrastructure. These services process information according to their own privacy policies and only as needed to support app functionality.

My Home Binder on Android

My Home Binder for Android uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, the app receives your Google account name, email address, and a unique account identifier. The app uses that identifier to keep your binder private to your account.

Home information you choose to enter—including a home nickname or address, room names, maintenance tasks, inventory item names and values, and onboarding status—is synchronized to Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and cached on your device. This information is used only to provide backup, restore, and app functionality. The current Android version does not upload photos, receipts, manuals, or PDFs.

If you choose to use the Premium AI Home Assistant, the question you enter and a text summary of the selected property's home profile, room names, maintenance tasks, and inventory records are sent through our Firebase backend to OpenAI to generate an answer. The Android app does not save AI chat history after you leave the assistant screen. Avoid entering information you do not want processed for the response.

My Home Binder does not sell your home or account information and does not use it for advertising.

App Store and Google Play Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple, Google Play, or approved subscription infrastructure. SmerDev Studio LLC may receive purchase status, product identifiers, renewal state, and related transaction metadata, but we do not receive your full payment card number, Apple ID password, or Google Account password.

Data Storage and Security

Some app data may be stored locally on your device. Some features may store or sync data through cloud services when required for the app to function. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

You can control many data uses through app settings, device permissions, Apple or Google Play subscription settings, and account controls where available. You can disable permissions such as location, microphone, camera, notifications, or photos through your device settings, though some app features may stop working without those permissions.

Delete a My Home Binder Android Account

You can permanently delete your My Home Binder Android account and its associated data from inside the app:

1. Open My Home Binder and sign in.
2. Open the More tab.
3. Select Delete Cloud Account.
4. Review the warning and select Delete to confirm.

This deletes the app's Firebase Authentication account, Firestore home record, room records, maintenance tasks, inventory records, onboarding status, and the app's local cached binder data. This action does not delete your Google Account. Purchase and transaction records maintained by Google Play are controlled by Google and may be retained as required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, or legal obligations.

If you cannot access the in-app deletion control, email techsupport@smerdevstudio.com with the subject “My Home Binder Android Account Deletion.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Children's Privacy

SmerDev Studio apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide app features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and improve our services. Data stored locally on your device may remain there until you delete it or uninstall the app. My Home Binder Android account data is deleted when you complete the in-app account-deletion process described above, except for records retained by a platform provider or as required by law.

International Users

If you use our apps outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using our apps, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your region.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps or website after an update means the revised policy applies.
